Hundreds Protest Turkey's Role in Kessab Attacks
On Friday, March 28, hundreds of activists gathered in front of the Turkish Consulate in Los Angeles to protest Turkey’s role in recent attacks against civilians in Kessab, Syria. The protest was organized by the Armenian Youth Federation and the Kessab Educational Association.

10th Annual Little Armenia Beautification Project a Success
On Saturday, March 8, the AYF held the 10th Annual Little Armenia Beautification Project (LABP), in conjunction with the Armenian National Committee of America (ANCA) Hollywood Chapter. The event was sponsored by Congressman Adam Schiff (CA-D), the Office of California State Senator Kevin De León, Los Angeles City Councilmember Mitch O’Farrell, East Hollywood Neighborhood Council, Hollywood Beautification Team, the Rotary Club of Thai Town, and the Thai Community Development Center.
AYF Crescenta Valley "Zartonk" Chapter Hosts Annual Open Mic Night
On March 2, the AYF hosted its annual Open Mic Night at the Crescenta Valley Armenian Center. The much-anticipated event had over 90 people in attendance. It was free and open to the public free. There were more than 25 performances, including the UCLA ASA dance group, musician Raffi Semerjian, bands Ooshatsank and Green KARD, as well as a wide variety of poets, singers, actors and comedians.
East Hollywood Community Celebrates 10th Annual Little Armenia Beautification Project
Since the official designation of "Little Armenia" in 2004, the AYF has been working with then Councilmember, now Mayor, Eric Garcetti to organize the neighborhood beautification project, which, according to the Los Angeles Sanitation Department, has resulted in the collection of over 40,000 pounds of trash.
Glendale "Roupen" Chapter to Host Career Fair
On Sunday, March 30, the Armenian Youth Federation Glendale “Roupen” Chapter will be hosting the Glendale Career Fair at the Krikor and Mariam Karamanoukian Glendale Youth Center beginning at 2 p.m.

Burbank “Varak” Chapter Hosts Second Annual Art Exhibition
The AYF Burbank “Varak” Chapter hosted its second annual Art Exhibition on Feb. 22 at the ACF Burbank Youth Center. The event, which was free and open to the public, brought local artists together with their community to celebrate the Armenian culture through art and allowed the hard work of the artists to be recognized in an intimate setting.
