AYF Community Forum on Genocide Resolution Set for Feb 28

The first in a series of community forums and educations will take place on February 28 at 4pm at the Karamanoukian Armenian Youth Center in Glendale, CA (211 W. Chestnut Ave., Glendale CA 91204). The meeting will focus on the current resolution and practical methods and strategies for activism on the issue. The speaker will be Vicken Sonentz Papazian, the former chairman of the Armenian National Committee Western Region.

Commonality In Struggle

A lot of things are taken for granted. In our daily lives we wake up, go to class, go to work, check our emails, check our Facebook, go out, live our lives, often times taking the smallest things, usually the most important things for granted. Things like our ability to freely express ourselves, the ability to have opinions, to make them, argue about them. The ability to stand up and speak. The ability to hear and be heard.
