AYF Fresno Launches Winter Toy Drive

FRESNO–The AYF Fresno “Kevork Chavoush” Chapter announced this week it has begun its annual toy drive to benefit underprivileged children in Armenia.

The chapter will be packaging boxes filled with toys and shipping them to Armenia at the end of the year. Toys must be brand new and in their original boxes.

Donors from the Los Angeles area can drop toys off at the AYF Central office located at 104 N. Belmont St., Suite 206, Glendale, CA 91206. For information or direction, call (818) 507-1933.

The chapter, which will be hosting this year’s AYF Olympics on Thanksgiving weekend, also announced this week that the annual AYF Olympics Dance will take place on November 29 at the Armenian Community Center in Fresno. The dance will feature Sahag Sislian and D.J. Raffy from San Francisco.
