AYF Hosts Career Fair to Network Youth with Alumni
Hollywood, CA- The Armenian Youth Federations Alumni Central Board seeks to professionally inspire Southern Californian youth by organizing a free event providing young, motivated students a chance to network and connect with successful employers from a wide array of fields.
The event, titled Where Opportunity Meets Experience, will be held at the Hollywood Armenian Center on April 29th from 4 to 7 p.m. This career fair will provide students multiple tools and resources that will help them explore the field they are passionate about pursuing, says Anya Agopian, a member of the Board.
Careers being represented include: Accounting, Acting, Architecture, Chef/Restaurant business, Construction, Engineering, Fashion Design, Finance, Government Work, Graphic Design, Green Energy, Insurance, Law, Law Enforcement, Medicine, Pharmacy, Psychology, Real Estate, Social Work, and Teaching/Education.
Students will have the exclusive opportunity to actually sit down and have a one-on-one conversation with a successful employer to get the ins-and-outs on how to be successful in the field of their choice, says Sanan Haroun, a member of AYF Central Executive. The employers are here to guide and mentor the up and coming generation to become future leaders and innovators.
Founded in 1933, the Armenian Youth Federation is the largest and most influential Armenian-American youth organization in the United States working to advance the social, political, educational, and cultural awareness of Armenian-American youth.
