Marking International Women’s Day, Armenian Weekly Publishes Special Insert Dedicated to Women’s Issues
March 8 marks International Women’s Day (IWD). On this occasion, the Armenian Weekly features a series of articles dedicated to women’s issues. Haytoug presents links to the articles below.
These articles are “a testament to the Weekly’s continued insistence on shedding light on women’s issues,” said Weekly editor Khatchig Mouradian.
“Over the past several years, we have not waited for special occasions like IWD to shed light on these issues. Violence against women, issues of equality, and women’s rights have been at the center of our attention. This publication is simply a continuation of this recently established ’tradition,’” he added.
The Weekly plans to publish a special insert every year on IWD.
